Damien Stryckman

Damien Stryckman is an accomplished Optical Engineer with extensive experience in the optical and engineering sectors. Currently employed at Thorlabs Canada since January 2014, Damien specializes in managing customer accounts and designing engineering tests. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Integration Specialist at Intermolecular and as an Optical Application Specialist at IR Photonics, where a strong focus was placed on technical support, custom design, and report writing. Damien has also served as a Senior Development Specialist at IR Photonics, contributing to new product development, including the iCure broadband curing system. Additional roles involve project management and technical training at CEPHOM and ITF Optical Technologies, alongside early career experience as a Junior Research Engineer at Communications Research Center. Damien holds a Master's degree in Engineering Physics from Polytechnique Montréal and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from Université Laval.
