Craig Mauermann

Craig Mauermann is a Senior Fixed Income Analyst at Thornburg Investment Management. Craig has over 17 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on municipal investments. Craig began their career in 2004 as a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at BMO Global Asset Management. In this role, they managed four tax-exempt mutual funds with strong performance records. Craig also managed private accounts for individuals, families, businesses, trusts, and foundations. In 2009, Craig was one of the founding co-managers of the BMO Ultra Short Tax-Free Fund, which was a top performer every year during their tenure. In 2015, Craig became co-manager of the BMO Short Tax-Free Fund and the BMO Intermediate Tax-Free Fund. Both of these funds were top performers during their tenure. In 2016, Craig left BMO to join Johnson Financial Group as Vice President and Fixed Income Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing fixed income separately managed accounts of all types. Craig also assisted in marketing efforts and produced articles for training, informational, and marketing purposes. In 2021, Craig joined Thornburg Investment Management as a Senior Fixed Income Analyst.
