Kara McGrath

Kara McGrath currently serves as the Athletics and Activities Secretary at Thornton Fractional High School District 215, a position held since July 2023. Additionally, Kara has been a Child Support Specialist at Circle of Support Inc since April 2020 and an Assistant Swim Coach for the Girls JV team at Marist High School since August 2017. Previous experience includes roles as a Fan Service Representative with the Chicago Bears from June 2018 to January 2023, a Guest Service Representative for the Chicago Cubs from May 2021 to August 2022, and a Sponsorship Fulfillment Assistant for the Quad Cities River Bandits in March 2020. Additionally, Kara worked at St. Ambrose University as an Athletic Department Intern and Student Athletic Trainer during the academic years of 2014 to 2018. Kara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from St. Ambrose University, obtained in 2018, and completed an Account Executive Internship with the Quad City Mallards in early 2017.
