Ameet Patel

Ameet Patel's work experience starts in 2009 as a Front Desk Manager at Best Western International, where they were responsible for bookkeeping, employee management, and implementing training programs. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Sales Associate at Foot Locker. Ameet then worked as a Teller at the University of Kentucky Federal Credit Union from 2013 to 2015, performing various member transactions and assisting with financial reconciliation. In 2015, Ameet held accounting intern positions at both Kentucky Eagle, Inc. and MQ Creative Lab, where they created accounting manuals and databases and contributed to sales growth. In 2016, they worked as an Audit Associate at Crowe Horwath LLP before joining Thoroughbred Hospitality Group as a Principal. Ameet also served on the Somerset-Pulaski Economic Development Authority (SPEDA) as a Board of Director. Currently, Ameet works as a Governor at Best Western® Hotels & Resorts starting from 2022. Ameet is also a member of the Emerging Leaders Board at the Gatton College of Business and Economics since 2020, where they are involved in various initiatives improving outcomes for students.

Ameet Patel obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Management, and Finance from the University of Kentucky in the years 2011-2015. In 2015, they attended ESEI International Business School to study International Business. Additionally, Ameet Patel has a certification as a Certified Front Desk Manager (CFDM) from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute.
