John Bernardo has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. John started their career in 2005 as a District Loss Prevention Manager at Abercrombie & Fitch Co. where they focused on preventing theft, managing difficult customers, and implementing emergency procedures. In 2006, they joined Lowe's Companies, Inc. as a Lowe's Home Improvement Store Operations Manager, responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, monitoring store performance, and implementing strategic asset protection plans. In 2013, they joined Thorpe Design, Inc. as a Customer Service Specialist & Inspections, where they provided product/services information and conducted fire inspections. John then worked their way up to become a Pipefitter, Tract Field Superintendent, and finally the Tract Department Manager, where they managed a large team and developed relationships with builders to secure adequate workload and revenue for their department. John is currently the Director of Tract Homes & Marketing Divisions at Thorpe Design, Inc.
John Bernardo attended Castro Valley High School from 1997 to 2000, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. After completing high school, they enrolled in Ohlone College from 2002 to 2005, pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice & Liberal Arts with a focus on Criminal Justice and Corrections.
