Alexei Paish

Alexei Paish is an Associate at Thorsteinssons Tax Lawyers since August 2021, with previous experience as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Federal Court of Appeal from August 2020 to July 2021. Prior to this, Alexei worked as an Associate Lawyer in Environmental Law at Gowling WLG between February 2019 and July 2020, and was also an Articling Student at the same firm. From December 2010 to February 2019, Alexei was a Self-Employed Freelance Musician, collaborating with various organizations including the Victoria Symphony Orchestra and Pacific Opera Victoria. Academic qualifications include a Juris Doctor from The University of British Columbia obtained in 2019, and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from the University of Victoria completed in 2014. Additional roles include serving as a Research Assistant and Director of Finance at the Law Students' Legal Advice Program, alongside experience as a Porter and Accounting Clerk at Government House and Oak Bay Marine Group.
