Software Architect at ThorTech Solutions

Jamus R. has worked in the software engineering field since 1999. Jamus began their career at Energy Management of Facilities as a Software Systems Application Engineer, where they designed and installed fully networked automation, control and facility management systems. Jamus then moved to MediaVast in 2004 as a Software Engineer, where they developed middle- and web-tier applications tightly integrated with a high volume transactional database. In 2006, Jamus worked at both RCS and Thortech Solutions, first as a Software Engineer at RCS, where they played a central development role in the Visual Radio project, and then as a Software Engineer at Thortech Solutions. Jamus then moved to Visible World in 2007 as a Software Architect, where they led a team of eight engineers and provided architectural software design leadership and mentorship. Finally, Jamus moved to ThorTech Solutions L.L.C. in 2010, where they worked as a Software Architect, envisioning, designing and implementing product ideas and concepts while developing n-tier applications in a largely distributed, highly collaborative and team-oriented environment.

Jamus R. began their educational journey in 1997 when they attended Fordham University, where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Information Systems in 2001. In 2002, they continued their studies at Columbia University, earning their Certificate in Software Engineering in 2003.
