Brian Tenggren

Brian Tenggren is an experienced software developer with a strong background in building scalable applications. Currently serving as Team Lead at thoughtbot since December 2018, Brian has previously held multiple roles including Senior Software Developer and Software Developer. At Salsify since May 2015, Brian has contributed to the development of various Rails and Sinatra applications, built APIs for customer and internal use, and managed integration projects. Prior experience includes an apprenticeship at Intrepid Pursuits, LLC as a Backend Developer and completing a full-stack program at General Assemb.ly. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and has served as Treasurer for the UMass Theater Guild, where responsibilities included co-designing stage sets and assisting with technical needs.
