Kirsty Alderton

Kirsty Alderton is the Director of Content & Infrastructure at ThoughtRiver. Kirsty is responsible for all company operations, covering both client operational systems and internal processes and systems. Kirsty has been with ThoughtRiver for 6 months, and previously served as the Director of Operations for 2 years and 7 months.

Before joining ThoughtRiver, Kirsty served as the Senior Product Manager at Advanced for 1 year and 9 months. In this role, they managed a suite of products in the Education arena, including the Progresso MIS. Kirsty was responsible for ensuring that the product met all requirements, both now and on the future roadmap.

Prior to their time at Advanced, Kirsty served as the Director of IT & Learning Technologies at the London Oratory School for 9 years and 9 months. During their tenure, they developed a 5 year IT strategy that encompassed the design and implementation of a new school wide IT solution to support all stakeholders as part of a multi-million Capital Build. Kirsty also transformed IT service provision by migrating the school’s existing IT Support services to an external managed service. In addition, Kirsty designed and delivered IT training programmes for pupils, teaching staff, admin and senior leadership.

Kirsty Alderton has a Bsc from the University of Roehampton in Business and Computing from 2004-2006 and they also have an Education from Pimlico School from 1973-1978.
