Somasundaram Piraman

Somasundaram Piraman has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Somasundaram started their career in 1999 as a System Engineer at Wipro Technologies and worked there until 2004. Somasundaram then joined Honeywell Technology Solutions Lab Private Limited as a Principal Engineer from November 2004 to January 2006. Following that, they worked as a Data Analyst at Intel Technologies India from 2006 to 2008. From 2008 to 2011, they served as a DW & BI Consultant at Meijer. In 2011, they joined Ness Technologies as a Data Architect and stayed there until 2012. Somasundaram then joined QuintilesIMS as a Senior Development Manager from April 2012 to November 2014, and later became an Associate Director of Information Technology from November 2014 to December 2016. Since February 2017, they have been working at ThoughtSphere, initially as a Director of Product Engineering and currently as the Associate Vice President for Customer Implementation & Product Development.

Somasundaram Piraman completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics from the University of Madras from 1996 to 1999. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Software Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, from 1999 to 2003.
