Ashutosh Kulkarni

Ashutosh Kulkarni is an experienced executive currently serving as the CEO and Chief Product Officer at Elastic since January 2021. Kulkarni holds board member and advisory roles at Genesys and IO River, respectively, and has been an advisor for ThoughtSpot since October 2013. Previous positions include Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer for Enterprise at McAfee from October 2018 to January 2021, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Web Performance and Web Security at Akamai Technologies from 2015 to 2018, and Senior Vice President and General Manager of Informatica Cloud at Informatica from 2005 to 2015. Kulkarni began a management career at Sun Microsystems, where a position as Group Manager was held from 1996 to 2005. Kulkarni earned an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
