Darren Young

Darren Young is an accomplished professional in software engineering and data engineering, currently serving as Principal Consultant, Data Engineer at Thoughtworks since January 2018, where previous roles included Lead Consultant positions in both Data Engineering and Development. Prior to joining Thoughtworks, Darren held the title of Senior Software Engineer at binaere bauten gmbh and Entelect, and worked as a Developer at Undiscape. Darren began a career in academia as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Pretoria. Darren holds a BSc in Computer Science (Honours) from the University of Pretoria, completed in 2011.
