James Scott

James Scott is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Lead Consultant Software Engineer at Thoughtworks since November 2019, James has previously held significant roles including Head of Web Development at Last.fm, where contributions were made to the world's largest music social network. Earlier career positions include Technical Director and Lead Developer at Silicon Vine, a co-founded company focused on bespoke intranet systems, and Web Developer roles at Jadu and Jammus Design. James's career began in the retail sector as a Shop Manager at Frontline Books while simultaneously developing a web design/development company.
