Nik Blower

Nik Blower has a diverse and extensive work experience in the video game industry. Nik began their career in 1993 as a UK Sales Manager at Infogrames Entertainment, where they were responsible for managing retail and distribution accounts. Nik also led a team of National Account Managers and oversaw trade marketing. In 2000, they joined 3DO as a UK & International Sales Manager, where they excelled in managing sales operations in both local and international markets.

In 2002, Blower was appointed as the Business Development Manager at Big Ben Interactive UK Ltd, where they focused on connecting own-brand gaming accessories with bespoke or off-the-shelf console video games. Nik also secured the Marvel accessories license for video games and initiated the first Marvel plug-n-play TV video game.

Blower's next role was as a Sales & Marketing Director at Nordic Games Publishing AB in 2008. Nik showcased their management skills by successfully leading the sales and marketing teams. Nik also held the position of International Sales during their time at the company.

Blower then joined THQ Nordic GmbH in 2012 as a Marketing & PR Director. Nik later took on the role of Franchise Director & Senior Key Accounts Sales, where they managed sales in multiple regions including the UK, Benelux, Nordics, France, Russia, Poland, Australia, and New Zealand. Nik also handled expo management for E3 and Gamescom, as well as music licensing.

Throughout their career, Blower has proven their ability to excel in various roles within the video game industry, demonstrating strong leadership, sales, marketing, and business development skills.

Nik Blower attended Birkdale High School from 1983 to 1988. Following that, from 1988 to 1990, they studied at Southport College of Art and Technology, where they pursued an A level degree in Pure & Applied Math, Physics, and Art.
