Philipp Brock

Director of PR & Marketing at THQ Nordic

Philipp Brock is the current Director of PR & Marketing at THQ Nordic. Philipp has over a decade of experience in the field, having previously worked as PR & Marketing Director and Global Public Relations for THQ Nordic GmbH. In their current role, Brock is responsible for coordinating roll-outs with different agencies and achieving the best positioning and exposure for the company as a whole. Philipp is also working on several top secret projects.

Brock began their career in the gaming industry at JoWooD Entertainment AG, where they worked in Corporate Communications and Investor Relations for 4 years. Philipp then joined THQ Nordic GmbH, where they spent 10 years 11 months heading all PR and Marketing activities on a global scale. During their time at THQ Nordic, Brock worked on a number of successful projects, including Darksiders Genesis, Wreckfest, Darksiders III, SpellForce III, MX vs ATV All Out, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire (physical edition), Halo Wars 2 (physical edition), Warhammer Vermintide (PS4/Xbox One physical), Alan Wake (PC physical), Quantum Break (PC physical), State of Decay (physical), Ori & the Blind Forest (PC physical), Titan Quest for PS4/Xbox One, This Is the Police 2, and Monster Jam Steel Titans.

Phillip Brock attended Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck from 2000-2006, where they received their Magister in Internationale Wirtschaftswissenschaften. Philipp also attended Murdoch University from 2003-2004, where they studied Internationales Marketing and Internationales Management.
