Steffen Hippe

Steffen Hippe has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Steffen currently works as the Head of Retail Distribution GSA at THQ Nordic since March 2021. Before that, they served as a Senior Category Buyer at MediaMarktSaturn from January 2020 to February 2021. Prior to this, Steffen held various roles at EuroVideo Medien GmbH, including Vertriebsleiter Games / Stellv. Gesamtvertriebsleiter, from March 2013 to July 2019. Steffen was responsible for leading the field service, procurement, and developing distribution strategies.

From July 2008 to February 2013, Steffen worked at dtp entertainment AG as the Vorstand Vertrieb & Marketing, where they were in charge of devising sales and marketing strategies, coordinating the overall distribution, IT, and purchasing departments. At dtp entertainment AG (formerly dtp Vertrieb & Marketing GmbH), where they worked from July 1996 to June 2008, they held the position of Sales Director. In this role, they collaborated with the management team to develop sales strategies, created sales plans, and supervised both the sales team and key account management.

Earlier in their career, Steffen served as a Key-Account-Manager at dtp Vertrieb & Marketing GmbH (now dtp Neue Medien GmbH) from November 1995 to June 1996. Steffen acquired new clients, managed key accounts, and optimized point-of-sale measures. Their career also includes roles at dtp Partner GmbH as Verkaufsleiter S\u00fcd and Vertriebsassistent, CPS MultiMedia Distribution GmbH as OEM Sales Manager, and CPS Multimedia Distributions GmbH as Vertriebsassistent and PC-Techniker. Steffen started their career as a PC-Techniker at Two to One Unternehmensberatung GmbH.

Steffen Hippe attended Schule from 1983 to 1985, where they earned a degree in Elektromonteur with a focus on Elektrotechnik.
