Raquel van Daalen Wetters

Raquel van Daalen Wetters has worked in the fashion industry since 2008. Raquel began their career as a Patternmaking Assistant at Ximena Valero and then moved on to become an Assistant Technical Designer at Complete Clothing Company Inc. in 2010. In 2015, Raquel worked as a Pattern Intern at PAD System Technologies Inc., a Design & Pattern Assistant at Adolfo Sanchez / CREATIV, a Mens Technical Designer at Threads 4 Thought, a Technical Designer at GUESS?, Inc., and a 1st Pattern Maker at Johnny Was. Since 2011, they have also been working as a Freelance Fashion & Pattern Designer, creating custom made-to-measure garments, tech packs, line sheets, mood boards, flat sketches and spec sheets. In 2021, Raquel became a Senior Technical Designer at Threads 4 Thought.

Raquel van Daalen Wetters attended the Academy of Couture Art from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fashion Design and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pattern Design. Prior to that, they attended FIDM from 2004 to 2009, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Fashion Design.
