Zheng Ren

Co-Founder at ThreatBook

Zheng Ren is the Co-Founder of ThreatBook, a position they have held since July 2015. Prior to that, they were a Senior Security Expert at Alibaba.com from January 2011 to June 2015, where they worked closely with Microsoft and Taobao on various projects. Before joining Alibaba.com, Zheng Ren worked at Nevis Networks as an Info Security Researcher from September 2007 to November 2010. During their time there, they conducted extensive research in the security field, developed Fuzz tools, and identified vulnerabilities in third-party software. Zheng Ren also worked as an Info Security Engineer and Manager of Production for the Government of Chaoyang District in Beijing, China from September 2006 to September 2007. Additionally, they served as an Info Security Engineer and Manager of Production at RealSOI from September 2003 to September 2006, where they focused on code testing for intrusion detection systems and acted as an info security speaker for the Shanghai government.

Zheng Ren attended the Hunan University of Science and Technology from 1999 to 2002. During this time, they pursued a bachelor's degree in Information and Electrical Engineering.
