Ann Westerheim

Ann Westerheim, PhD, is the Founder and President of Ekaru, a Boston-based technology company providing IT and cybersecurity services to small businesses since 2001. As a member of the ISAO Executive Steering Committee at the Global Technology Industry Association since its formation in 2025, Westerheim contributes to a vendor-neutral non-profit that supports businesses within the IT channel ecosystem. Additionally, involvement as an Advisory Council Member for ConnectWise, ThreatLocker, MSP Success, and Channel Program demonstrates a commitment to enhancing the success of IT solution providers. Membership with InfraGard aligns with efforts to bolster national security, while participation in the Forbes Technology Council underscores expertise in the technology sector. Westerheim also serves on the Screening Committee for the Lemelson-MIT Program, recognizing significant inventors and innovations. Educational qualifications include an S.B., S.M., and PhD in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and participation in an International Summer School at the University of Oslo.
