Marc Schmidt has over 30 years of experience in software development and IT infrastructure. From 1991 to 2005, they were the Managing Director, founder and owner of GS-Computersystems in Lörrach, Germany, a company active in the software industry. During this time, they created customer-specific software solutions, traceability, especially in the automotive industry, and integrated ERP and CAQ systems. Marc also created multilingual documentation, supported customers with project management, and implemented traceability in Delphi, C#, and SQL.
From 2005 to 2009, Marc Schmidt was the Managing Director, co-founder and partial owner of GS-Computersystems SARL in Masevaux, France. Marc was responsible for creating automated pallet systems, package managing systems, and RFID. Marc also accompanied introduction and implementation of the whole production process, created concepts, and supported and took care of students and trainees on their theses.
In 2009, Marc Schmidt was the Project Manager for the Intelligent Battery Sensor Project and Responsible for the IT infrastructure at SAK. Marc coordinated the introduction of new product versions with customers and suppliers, and maintained and extended traceability.
Finally, from 2010 to 2022, Marc Schmidt was the Manager Software Product Development, Manager Software Quality and Design, and Senior Software Engineer at SOTAX Group.

Marc Schmidt's education history includes an industrial engineering degree from FH Offenburg from 1996 to 2001, a computer science degree from FH Karlsruhe from 1991 to 1996, an industrial mechanic degree from Rotzler GmbH from 1993 to 1995, and a period of study in Weil am Rhein with no degree.
