Antti Tikkanen

Antti T. is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity, currently serving as the Security Engineering Lead at Snap Inc. since August 2021, leading the Detection and Response team in Switzerland. Antti also holds technical advisory roles at Valo Security and Threatray, starting in February and August 2023, respectively. Prior to Snap Inc., Antti was the Engineering Manager for the Threat Analysis Group at Google from September 2015 to August 2021, overseeing the EMEA operations focused on state-sponsored threats. Antti's career at F-Secure Corporation spanned from January 2005 to August 2015, where roles included Director of Technology Strategy and Research, Director of Security Response, Senior Manager of Antimalware Technologies, and Research Manager, contributing significantly to the development of core security technologies. Antti played a key role in advancing mobile security through a position as Technical Area Co-Chair at MAAWG from July 2013 to May 2015. Educationally, Antti holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications software and Network security from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, completed in January 2005.
