Mathias Fuchs

Mathias Fuchs is an experienced cyber security leader and SANS Senior Instructor with a robust background in incident response. Currently, Mathias serves as Geschäftsführer at InfoGuard Austria GmbH and is a Senior Instructor at the SANS Institute. Previously, Mathias held various roles including Principal Consultant at Mandiant, where they played a key role in establishing the company in the Central European market, and Vice President of Investigation & Intelligence at InfoGuard AG, where they built a major MSSP SOC in Switzerland. Mathias has a Diplomingenieur degree in Biomedizinische Informatik from UMIT and has actively contributed to the cyber security community through training and consultancy roles since 2005.
