Michał Gutowski

Michał Gutowski has worked in the software development industry since 2014. Michał began their career as a Backend Ruby Developer at BinarApps - Ruby on Rails Developers in 2014. In 2016, they moved to Oberthur Technologies as a Software Engineer, where they implemented GSMA subscription manager for the machine-to-machine market. In 2018, they joined Westwing Home & Living as a Search Backend Developer, responsible for maintaining search infrastructure based on Scala and Elastic Search. Most recently, they have been a Software Developer at Leonteq since 2018, part of a team which builds and maintains an investment platform for insurance companies.

Michał Gutowski obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from Lodz University of Technology between 2011 and 2015. Michał then went on to receive a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science and Information Technology from Lodz University of Technology between 2015 and 2017. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Big Data Analysis with Scala and Spark from Coursera in December 2020, Java Multithreading, Concurrency & Performance Optimization from Udemy in April 2020, and Java Application Performance and Memory Management from Udemy in March 2020.
