Dan Pop

Dan Pop has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering roles. Dan is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at thredUP since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Globant as a Senior Java Software Engineer from 2021 to 2023. In this role, they developed and maintained multiple microservices using Java, Kotlin, and Golang for a groceries delivery app. Before that, they were a Java Developer at Betfair Romania Development from 2019 to 2021, where they worked on the payments team, integrating third-party payment systems and processing large amounts of user traffic and transactions. Dan also has experience as a Java Developer at acces.eu from 2018 to 2019, where they worked on a springboot microservice for an electronics retail provider. Dan'searliest experience includes working as a Junior Developer at Codemart from 2016 to 2018 and as a Software Developer during Google Summer of Code in 2017, where they worked on improving an open source project. Throughout their career, Dan has gained expertise in various technologies including Java, Spring, Hibernate, Postgres, Python, and JavaScript.

Dan Pop attended the Technical University of Cluj Napoca from 2014 to 2018, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
