Mark Shoun

Mark Shoun is currently a Staff Data Scientist at THREE Insurance, where they leverage their extensive data science expertise to address complex problems. Previously, Mark served as Chief Data Scientist at Ledger Investing, leading a team dedicated to sophisticated analytics for casualty insurance portfolios. They also held positions as a Senior Data Scientist at B23 LLC and a Lead Product Modeling Analyst at GEICO, where they developed statistical models to enhance decision-making. Mark began their career as a lead trombonist in the United States Air Force, showcasing their diverse skill set. Mark earned a Master’s Degree in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
