David Hughes

David Hughes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Corporate Sales Acquisition at Three Ireland since October 2016, David leads a team focused on promoting advanced technology solutions to corporate clients. David's previous roles include Commercial Director at Vayu Ltd., where management of energy services took place, and Head of Enterprise Sales & Service Delivery at Viatel, specializing in ICT solutions. David also held significant positions at Vodafone, including Director & Trustee for the Vodafone Ireland Foundation, where support for community initiatives was emphasized, and Head of Enterprise Solutions, where a new market for fixed services was developed. David's earlier career includes leadership roles at Vodafone UK, eTel, MCI WorldCom Ireland, and Barlo Group. David holds a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from University College Dublin and is a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW.
