Robert Flanagan

Robert Flanagan is an accomplished Telecommunications Engineer with extensive experience in transmission operations and planning within the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as a Transmission Operations Engineer at Three Ireland since April 2022, Robert previously worked at eir Ireland, where roles included Eir Mobile Transmission Fibre Planner and Transmission Operations Team Lead, spearheading the planning and optimization of the 5G network rollout and microwave network maintenance. A strong foundation in telecommunications was established with a B.Eng in Telecommunications Engineering from Dublin City University, complemented by prior roles at companies such as Mosaic, Meteor Mobile Communications, and AIEP, where Robert honed skills in site integration, fault resolution, and resource management.
