Jenelle Wrede (She/Her)

Director of Operations at Three Little Pitties Rescue

I started fostering for Three Little Pitties Rescue in October of 2018. I remember filling out the foster application and then every time I said I would foster a dog it would be adopted before it arrived here. I was always so bummed! Back then transport was with vans, and when I finally picked up my first foster I fell in love with the whole process. I started bugging Alayna numerous times a week to ask if I could do more - slowly I started helping her send out contracts in word documents and then later I wanted to grow the foster department up in the PNW because I saw the need for growth here. I started the facebook page for the PNW fosters and it has grown so much! I was also coordinating dogs at that point. Olga and I became lead adoption coordinators and we continued to grow the adoptions department. I started taking on more of an operations role while Olga took over the adoptions department.

I often think about how lucky I am that Alayna didn't think I was a pain in the a** for constantly texting and emailing her asking what else I could do to help.

We have been lucky enough to watch the rescue grow over the last few years and seeing how many animals and human lives we are impacting is amazing. I love this team and I can not wait to see where we are in a couple of years. I didn't just get a job that I love, I also made some amazing friends that I enjoy working with daily.
