Three Oaks Engineering
Eloise MacLean is an Environmental Science major at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as an Environmental Science Intern at Three Oaks Engineering since May 2024, Eloise assists with ecological surveys and contributes to Natural Resource Technical Reports. Previous experiences include leadership roles in the Edible Campus initiative at the North Carolina Botanical Garden, where Eloise managed gardening projects and communication efforts. Additionally, Eloise has interned as a Water Quality Intern at Sound Rivers, Inc., coordinating volunteer efforts and conducting water sampling, and worked as an Environmental Research Intern with the UNC Institute for the Environment, focusing on clean energy educational programs. Prior roles include data analysis in the Lohmann Biology Lab and legal assistance at the UNC Office of University Counsel. Eloise's international experience includes study at Universidad San Francisco de Quito in early 2023.

Three Oaks Engineering is a woman-owned business enterprise (WBE) focused on helping our clients successfully accomplish infrastructure projects with careful consideration of community and environmental needs. We offer a broad range of services, including National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation, transit planning, multimodal transportation planning, traffic engineering, roadway design, multimodal design, hydraulic design, community impact assessment, indirect and cumulative impacts analysis, threatened and endangered species surveys, wetland and stream delineations, and environmental permitting. Additionally, we have developed significant public engagement campaigns and offer in-house Spanish translation services.
