Jake Freudberg

Jake Freudberg is a versatile journalist and educator currently working as a reporter for the Maine Trust for Local News, focusing on coverage of Skowhegan and Somerset County since November 2023. Freudberg has held various roles in journalism, including internships at GBH and El Mundo Boston, along with significant contributions to The Tufts Daily as an associate editor and sports editor. In educational settings, Freudberg served as an English Teaching Assistant in Spain and as a research assistant for The Listening Project at Tufts University. Additionally, experience as a whitewater rafting guide and marketing intern complements Freudberg's diverse skill set. A graduate of Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Studies, Spanish, and Education, Freudberg's background also includes leadership as a resident assistant during university years.
