Jonathan Ferri is an experienced recreation specialist currently employed at JBER Outdoor Recreation since May 2024. Previously, Jonathan served as a whitewater river guide for NOVA River Runners Inc., navigating guests through the Alaskan wilderness. Other roles include working as an adaptive ski instructor at the National Ability Center, where Jonathan achieved recognition as 'instructor of the year', and as a research assistant at the University of Vermont, focusing on human biomechanics utilizing advanced motion capture technology. Jonathan also gained experience as a biomedical equipment technician and a mechanical engineering intern, enhancing both technical and engineering skills. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Vermont, with a concentration in Cell, Tissue, and Organ Biomechanics.

Three Rivers is the Home of Serious Fun! We are Maine's #1 Outdoor Outfitter in Rafting, Lodging, Nightlife and Skydiving. This company was founded on the idea that life is meant to be free, and allow for the most fun possible. On January 21, 1997 this company started with a credit card, purchasing two boats, life jackets and paddles to outfit 20 guests. Now we can outfit 220 guests on the Kennebec, Dead, and the Penobscot Rivers. We are still working together to achieve all that is possible. New dreams and achievements are happening every year as our team and operations continue to expand.
