Senior WordPress Developer (Tech Lead) at Three Ships

Peter Marra has a comprehensive work experience spanning over two decades. Peter started their career as a Production Assistant at ESPN in 1998 and then worked as a Feeds Coordinator at CNN in 1999. Peter later joined Yahoo! as a Streaming Media Editor from 2000 to 2001.

From 2005 to 2009, Peter served as the Director of Interactive Media at Farmers' Almanac TV. Following that, they were self-employed at 1M Studios, where they worked as a WordPress/WooCommerce/PHP-MySQL Developer, Web Designer, and Film & Video Producer.

In 2017, Peter joined AAA National as a Digital Developer, where they were responsible for website updates, maintenance, and development of new features. Peter also produced and edited videos for AAA National Public Affairs presentations.

Peter then worked as a Senior Web Developer at Nutrex Research, Inc. from 2019 to 2022. During this time, they managed the nutrex.com product catalog, developed custom functionality and plugins for WordPress and WooCommerce, and identified areas for process improvement in e-commerce.

Currently, Peter is employed at Home Solutions as a Senior WordPress Developer (Tech Lead) since January 2022. In this role, they oversee development tasks and projects for multiple websites, conducts code reviews, collaborates with project leaders, and contributes to the standardization of development best practices.

Throughout their career, Peter has gained experience in various aspects of web development, video production, content creation, branding, analytics, and social media strategy.

Peter Marra has a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) degree in Film and Television from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Peter also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications - Media Production from Florida State University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Accounting 1: Fundamentals and Finance: Time Value of Money from Smartly by Pedago in 2019.
