Dimitris Vasilaras

Dimitris Vasilaras is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in network transformation and engineering. Currently serving as a Transformation Architect and Cloud Automation Lead at Hutchison 3G, Dimitris plays a key role in designing and automating network services within a cloud environment, contributing to the successful launch of the world's first end-to-end cloud-native network. Previously, as an E2E Senior Solution Architect, Dimitris was responsible for the technical delivery of services such as "Feel at Home," "VoWiFi," and "VoLTE" in the UK. Prior to Hutchison, Dimitris held positions at Huawei Technologies as a Wireless Marketing Manager, ATOS ORIGIN as a Presales Consultant, and Lucent Technologies as a Radio Standards Engineer, showcasing expertise in technical delivery, bid management, and standardization in telecommunications. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Leeds Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Coventry University.
