Scott Fairbairn

Scott Fairbairn is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Head of Legal for Marketing, Media, and Intellectual Property at Three. since August 2012, where management of a multidisciplinary team is a key responsibility in a regulated industry. Prior to this role, Scott was Chair of the London Committee at the Society for Computers and Law from November 2016 to August 2022, engaging legal and technology professionals in discussions on the intersection of law and technology. Earlier experience includes working as a Solicitor in Intellectual Property at CMS Cameron McKenna from August 2005 to August 2012, providing comprehensive advice on various intellectual property matters across multiple sectors. Scott also has experience as a Recruitment Consultant at Executive Connections from 2000 to 2003. Academically, Scott holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice from the University of Bristol and is currently pursuing certification as a Certified Information Privacy Professional Europe (CIPP/E).
