Delfien Schoonbaert

Delfien Schoonbaert's work experience includes being a Project Management Consultant at threon - strategy delivered since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Paralegal at Desmet, Defloo & Brouckaert from October 2019 to October 2022. Delfien also held positions as an Event Officer at UNYA Antwerp from September 2017 to December 2017, and as an Intern at the Embassy of Belgium in Indonesia from June 2017 to August 2017. Additionally, they gained internship experience at Groep Larcier from March 2016 to May 2016.

Delfien Schoonbaert has a diverse education history. Delfien obtained their Bachelor's degree in Law Practice (Rechtspraktijk) from HOGENT in the years 2013 to 2016. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Law through the Erasmus Program at the University of Warsaw from 2015 to 2016.

In 2016, they began studying at the University of Antwerp, where they focused on International Relations and Diplomacy for three years until 2019. During their time at the University of Antwerp, Delfien also participated in an exchange semester at the National University of Singapore in 2018, specializing in Southeast Asian Studies and Political Science.

Continuing their educational journey, Delfien is currently pursuing a Master's degree in International and European Law at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, which they started in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2023. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained additional certifications. Delfien obtained the CAE - Certificate in Advanced English (C1) from Cambridge Assessment English in September 2021. Delfien also obtained a certification in Academic English from BABEL Talen, the language partner of Utrecht University, through the Utrecht Summer School in August 2015.
