Annabel Banks

Annabel Banks is a dedicated professional in the field of social work and mental health, currently serving as a Behavioral Health Specialist at the Cook County Sheriff’s Office since September 2024. Previously, Annabel has been a Crisis Response Worker at Thresholds since June 2023 and a Young Adult Presenter for the National Alliance on Mental Illness from November 2018 until May 2025, focusing on mental health awareness in local high schools. Additional experience includes internships with the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center and the United States Marshals Service, as well as work as a photographer for Marist College Department of Athletics. Annabel's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Social Work, Policy, and Administration from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Marist University.
