Steve Weinstein MD, DFAPA, currently serves as the Immediate Past-President of the Illinois Psychiatric Society since May 2021 and has held various roles at Thresholds since July 1999, including Medical Director, Assistant Medical Director, and Consultant Psychiatrist. Additionally, Steve Weinstein has been a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago since 2012, where training is provided to medical students on the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders. Previous experience includes private practice at Rush University Medical Center from July 1999 to October 2007. Steve Weinstein earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Rush Medical College of Rush University Medical Center and completed a psychiatric residency at the University of Illinois Chicago, in addition to obtaining a Master's in Health Services Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in American Culture from the University of Michigan.
