James Pounders is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Thrive Academy. Prior to their current role, James held the position of State Treasury Debt Analyst at the Louisiana Department of Treasury. Their responsibilities included analyzing debt, election, and other applications submitted by various entities and presenting findings to Bond Commission members. Before that, James worked as a Client Relations Manager at Lincoln Financial Advisors where James provided detailed financial analyses and recommendations to client-investors. James holds an MBA and Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics from Louisiana State University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Finance from Harding University.
