Joe Cairns

Joe Cairns has worked in the software engineering field since 1991. Joe began their career at Spadea Manufacturing as a Software Engineer, where they planned and implemented the company's data processing capabilities. From 1995 to 1997, they worked at SRC Systems as a Software Engineer, where they designed, developed, and customized software for the electric utility industry. From 1997 to 2002, they worked at Independence Blue Cross as a Systems Analyst, responsible for maintaining and enhancing their perinatal risk management software. From 2002 to 2005, they worked as a Consultant/Senior Developer at Educational Testing Service (ETS), providing support and enhancements to the application used to analyze the results of the SAT testing program. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Consultant/Senior Developer at American College of Radiology, implementing new and updated features on an internal application that reported field data from hospitals. From 2007 to 2018, they worked at Code Mosaix as a Principal - Senior Software Engineer, achieving success in all phases of software lifecycle over a broad range of industries. In 2018, Joe began working at Thrive Commerce as Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering, helping retailers take their digital and omnichannel revenue to new heights by optimizing omnichannel and online promotions.

Joe Cairns attended Penn State University from 1987 to 1998, studying Mathematics. Joe also attended Eastern Regional but did not receive any degree or certification.
