Rafid Imran has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Rafid is currently the CEO of Thrive EdTech since April 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Graduate in Cohort 1 for NSU Startups Next from September 2020 to February 2021.

Rafid also has experience at Grameenphone Ltd, where they held multiple roles. Rafid was an Incubation Manager for the GP Explorers program from February 2020 to July 2020, where they managed upskilling initiatives. Rafid also worked on the MyGP App as part of the Product and Campaigns team from January 2019 to January 2020. Earlier in their career, Rafid gained experience as a Management Trainee for the Next Business Leader program, where they learned about agile methodologies and digital transformation in the telco business. Rafid also worked as an Executive for Global Partnerships in the Digital Services department and had an internship as a Digital Partnership Intern.

Additionally, Rafid worked as a Contributing Writer for Dhaka Tribune from March 2016 to November 2017. Rafid also worked as a Digital Content Analyst for Cookie Jar from March 2016 to November 2016.

Rafid Imran completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Marketing from North South University, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. In July 2016, Rafid Imran became a Certified Supply Chain Analyst through the International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA). In April 2019, they completed courses in Data Visualization: Storytelling, Designing an Infographic, and Learning Data Science: Tell Stories with Data, all from LinkedIn.
