Aditya Karmarkar

Aditya Karmarkar has extensive experience in software engineering. Aditya is currently working as a Software Engineer at Thrive Market, where they build microservices for the platform backend using a variety of technologies such as Magento (PHP), Spring/Java applications, and Golang. Prior to joining Thrive Market, Aditya worked as a Microservices Application Developer at IBM from August 2021 to June 2022.

Before that, they served as an Associate Software Engineer at Cognizant from October 2018 to August 2021. In this role, they worked on Apache Camel orchestration journey, NoSQL data management, and developed a reactive system using Akka reactive framework and Java 8.

Aditya also gained experience as a POS Developer at Rebel Corp Global in 2017 and as a Python Developer at ComYoot from January 2017 to March 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at IGATE from July 2014 to July 2016.

Aditya Karmarkar completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai in the period of 2010 to 2014. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Delaware from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Tilaknagar Vidya Mandir in Dombivli between 1998 and 2008.

Aditya also obtained several additional certifications, including "Reactive Architecture Foundations" from IBM in January 2019, "Reactive Programming with Java 8" from LinkedIn in October 2018, and "Advanced SQL for Data Scientists" from LinkedIn in August 2018,among others. Aditya was awarded the "Codility award" by Codility in June 2018. Additionally, Aditya received the "Master of Science" designation from the University of Delaware in May 2018.
