Nicole Gulotta has a diverse range of work experiences. Nicole started their career as a Media Coordinator at Davies Public Affairs in 2004 and worked there until 2007. From 2007 to 2008, they served as a Development Assistant at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History.
In 2008, Nicole joined the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, initially as a Coordinator for the Hilton Humanitarian Prize and later as an Assistant Manager for the same prize. This role involved managing and coordinating activities related to the prize, which awards $1.5 million to organizations addressing human suffering.
Nicole worked at the Starkey Hearing Foundation as a Content Development Manager from 2014 to 2016, where they were responsible for developing content for the organization.
Since 2013, they have also been working as a Freelance Writer, contributing to various publications such as The Los Angeles Times, Literary Hub, Motherly, The Guardian, Saveur, Christian Science Monitor, Travel & Leisure, Gather Journal, Real Simple Magazine, Kinfolk Magazine, and others. Nicole has also contributed as a columnist for Life & Thyme.
In 2016, Nicole joined Thrive Market as a Senior Content Editor, where they currently hold this position.
Nicole Gulotta received their BA in English from UC Santa Barbara. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts, which they completed in 2007.
