Jeff Holtz

Jeff Holtz is the founder and CEO of Thrive Nutritious Ice Cream. Jeff has over 30 years of experience in the food industry, with a focus on frozen desserts.

Jeff started their career in 1989 at the Yarnell Ice Cream Company. Jeff worked their way up from the R&D director to the plant operations manager. In 2011, they left Yarnell to start their own company, Thrive Frozen Nutrition Corporation.

At Thrive, Jeff was responsible for innovation and quality control. Jeff developed new flavors and lines of ice cream, including frozen yogurt and no sugar added lines. Jeff also worked with co-pack customers to integrate new products into the Thrive facility.

In September 2021, Jeff left Thrive to start their own ice cream company, Thrive Nutritious Ice Cream. Thrive Nutritious Ice Cream is focused on providing nutritious and delicious ice cream to help people live healthier lives.

Jeff Holtz received a Bachelor of Science in Food Industry - Animal Science from Oklahoma State University. Jeff then went on to study Pre-Veterinary Studies at the University of Central Oklahoma.
