Matt Neal

Matt Neal currently serves as the Managing Director of Thrive Academies at Thrive Scholars, a position held since August 2022. Prior experience includes various roles at the Interfaith Welcome Coalition from 2017 to August 2022, including Board Member and Interim Executive Director. Neal has also worked as Education Program Manager and Strategic Consultant at Endeavors (2021-2022) and as Managing Director of Culturally Relevant Design at Teaching Trust (2018-2020). Earlier positions feature leadership roles at KIPP Texas Public Schools and YES Prep Public Schools, with a focus on academic and talent development. Educational qualifications include an EdM in Learning and Teaching from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BA in English Literature and Education from Swarthmore College.
