Steve Downey

Steve Downey has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Steve currently serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Thrive365, a digital health/mobile health company that focuses on managing nutrition for individuals with type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, and hypertension. Prior to this, Steve was the CEO and founder of Covenant Executive Management, where they provided Fortune 500 caliber management services to small to mid-market companies. Steve also co-founded and served as a board member for RxProtect, a company focused on healthcare solutions. Additionally, Steve co-founded and was the managing partner of True Legend Films. Their experience includes leadership roles such as Chairman, President, and CEO of ApoVax, an early-stage biotechnology company focused on therapeutic vaccines. Steve also served as the Executive Vice President and CFO of Ventas, a healthcare real estate investment trust. Earlier in their career, Steve was the Vice President and Controller of Providian Corporation, a financial services company. Steve started their career at Ernst & Young, where they worked as a Senior Manager and advised major clients in the financial services, technology, healthcare, and real estate industries.

Steve Downey attended The University of Alabama from 1975 to 1978. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Finance.
