Maxim Atanassov

Maxim Atanassov, CPA-CA, currently serves as a General Partner at Future Ventures Corp since November 2018, focusing on supporting innovative founders. At Vino Al Vino Inc., Maxim has been a Board Member since May 2014, contributing to a wine importing agency dedicated to quality winemaking. Additionally, Maxim acts as a Startup Mentor at OneEleven 111 and a Business Mentor at SVG Ventures | THRIVE. Previously, from March 2015 to November 2018, Maxim was the Chief Audit Executive at Pembina Pipeline Corporation, where responsibilities included developing a top quartile Internal Audit department. Maxim's earlier experience includes a Senior Manager role at Deloitte and EY, specializing in enterprise risk transformations and large internal audit engagements. Maxim holds a Chartered Accountant designation from the Atlantic School of Chartered Accountancy and a Bachelor's Degree in BBA E-Commerce and Marketing from the University of New Brunswick.
