Colleen Hilton has a diverse work experience in the mental health field. In 2007, they began working as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice. From 2008 to 2014, they were an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Phoenix, facilitating undergraduate courses in psychology and behavioral science. In 2016, they founded and became the CEO of Acuity Counseling, a private group practice providing counseling and therapy to individuals, couples and families in all stages of life. In 2020, they became the CEO and Co-Founder of Thrivelution, a SaaS technology that takes a proprietary data science approach to matching patients to their ideal mental health provider. In 2022, they were selected as a Catalyst Program Batch 2 participant at Graham & Walker, and they will also be participating in the Techstars Boston '22 program.
Colleen Hilton earned their Master of Arts (M.A.) in Counseling Psychology from National University in 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona in 2003.
