Dave Sampson

Dave Sampson has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Dave began their career at ColoSpace, Inc. as the Chief Technical Officer, where they oversaw operations, technology strategy, budget, and sales support. Dave then founded Cloud Provider USA, LLC and served as its Chief Executive Officer, where they built a high-performance IaaS platform and provided services to various industries. Dave later became the Executive Vice President and CTO of Itrica, where they directed company strategy, product development, and managed services. Dave then joined IBM as a Sr. Consulting Technical Solution Manager, consulting with customers for strategic outsourcing. Dave also served as a Selectman and Chairman of the Sandwich Board of Selectmen for the Town of Sandwich. Currently, they are the Vice President of Cyber Risk & Strategy at Thrive, where they provide strategic guidance on cybersecurity and IT service delivery. Dave was also previously the Vice President of Consulting Services at Thrive, leading the Consulting Team in providing advisory services for cloud and cybersecurity.

Dave Sampson earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Communication and Media Studies from Emerson College. Dave further pursued their education by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from ISC2 in 2023.
