Eric Thompson

Eric Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and responsibilities. Eric started their career as an Associate Network Engineer at Readers Digest in 2004 and subsequently held various positions including Network Engineer, Senior Network Engineer, and Technical Lead. In 2015, they moved to Thrive and served as a Cloud Infrastructure Manager, Senior Cloud Infrastructure Manager, and Director of Cloud Services. Most recently, they were a Senior Director of Cloud Services and Vice President of Cloud Infrastructure at Thrive. Eric also gained experience during their internship as a Novell and Citrix Provisioning Lab Manager at Readers Digest in 2003.

Eric Thompson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in CIS and Management from Bryant University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Eric also holds various certifications including Certified Data Centre Management Professional (CDCMP®) from CNet Training obtained in December 2022, ZCP for Cloud Service Providers from Zerto obtained in 2019, VMware Certified Professional 6.5 - Data Center Virtualization from VMware obtained in 2018, VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Center Virtualization from VMware obtained in 2016, ZCP from Zerto obtained in 2016, and VMware VCP-DV 5.5 from VMware obtained in November 2014.
