Kwok Wai

Kwok Wai, Ray Lee has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and technology. Kwok Wai, Ray is currently working as the Head of APAC Information Security at Thrive, a leading provider of NextGen managed services. In this role, they ensure that Thrive's clients achieve operational efficiencies, security compliance, high availability, and reliability in both on-premise and cloud environments.

Prior to joining Thrive, Kwok Wai, Ray Lee held various positions in different companies. Kwok Wai, Ray worked as a CISSP, CISA, and Microsoft Certified Trainer at Kornerstone Institute, where they provided professional training programs to individuals and corporate members. Kwok Wai, Ray also served as the Head of APAC Information Security at Edge Technology Group, where they gained expertise in MSP solutions, cloud technology, support, and cybersecurity for alternative investing.

Before that, Kwok Wai, Ray Lee worked as a Desktop Support Engineer at Brevan Howard, providing technical support. Kwok Wai, Ray also worked as a Technology Manager at AIA, managing the Wintel team for BAU support. Additionally, they gained experience as the APAC Server Team Lead at GFI Group, where they led projects related to servers virtualization and VDI.

Furthermore, Kwok Wai, Ray Lee served as a Software System Specialist at Bank of New York Mellon, leading a team and supporting Microsoft servers in the Asia Pacific region. Kwok Wai, Ray also worked as an IT consultant at Getronic and Merrill Lynch, providing IT support and specializing in Microsoft and VMware technologies.

Lastly, Kwok Wai, Ray Lee started their career as an IT Trainer at Informatic College, where they trained individuals in various IT subjects. Overall, they have a strong background in information security, technology management, and providing IT support in various domains.

Kwok Wai, Ray Lee holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Information Security from The University of Hong Kong, which they obtained from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their MBA in Information Systems at the University of Southern Queensland from 2008 to 2011.

In terms of additional certifications, Kwok Wai, Ray Lee has obtained a CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in May 2021. Kwok Wai, Ray also holds certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)² and Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals, both obtained in 2019. In 2013, they acquired the MCSE: Messaging certification from Microsoft.
